Memphis Runs for Autism 5k is going VIRTUAL for 2020. While we had hoped to have a live event, it will not be possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we still need your support! Please join us for the Memphis Runs for Autism VIRTUAL 5k.
How will this work? Run a 5k anytime during the race weekend and anywhere you’d like – inside, outside, or even on a treadmill. Then, post your time to our results page. All registered participants will be mailed a race bib and t-shirt, and receive virtual results. Don’t forget to send in your photos of you in your Memphis Runs for Autism 5k gear! Please consider signing up to support us.
Too hot for ya? Not interested in running? That’s okay! Please consider making a donation to The ANGEL Program. The ANGEL Program Fund, Inc. is the fundraising arm of the The ANGEL Program. It is an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
Memphis Runs for Autism was created by volunteers in an effort to help raise funds for The ANGEL Program and touch the lives of children affected by autism. All proceeds from this event directly help to:
Underwrite operating expenses such as salaries for teachers and therapists who care for these children
Support technology upgrades
Provide scholarships for families affected by autism
The race serves as a memorial to Cathy Pinter,
a former Holy Rosary teaching assistant and passionate supporter of The ANGEL Program. Immediately after her passing, Cathy's family chose to honor her memory through volunteer work and fund raising for The ANGEL Program. Your sponsorship will help ensure Cathy's memory lives on through the enrichment of The ANGEL Program.
